Politics As Usual

Some think it's already too late to alter the path to chaos.
The question we face in this age is whether it is possible to maintain a civil society with an abundance of people embracing an alternate reality. There are now two Americas, the 'Leftists' who are concentrated in failing blue voting cities and the rest of us who still recall our founding ideals. Those on the political Left want a big and powerful government to give them things - security, equality, healthcare, etc. They reject those 'limited government power' ideals codified in the US Constitution. Progressivism, says Justice Clarence Thomas, "requires of the people a subservience and weakness incompatible with a Constitution." Henry Ford : ”Any man who thinks he is going to be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him should take a close look at the American Indian. “ Now he might have added ‘or blue voting cities.’ Progressives favor 'democracy' over a 'republican' form of government. (click here for the difference) They often call themselves 'Democratic Socialists' (DS). That means they "vote for a living" and expect the minority to obey and provide for them ("tax the rich"). This always fails society! ... because who wants to be exploited?! (click here for more) DSs don't really care about democracy. Insurrection began when Democrats started 'regime change' operations against a democratically elected President in 2016. It continues now with attempts to purge elected polls they don’t like; lawfare to keep them off ballots or remove them fom office; and other shady or illegal acts . So ... no respect for democracy. "Their “democracy” is nothing more than a gigantic engine of grift, meticulously assembled over the decades" (click here for more) Neither are DSs really 'socialists' as they do not ban private ownership of production... yet . For now they just want to exploit (tax) productive people to benefit (subsidize) themselves. If socialists argue that profit is stealing ‘Surplus Value Of Labor’ why don’t they argue that a tax is the same thing? Anyone can demand. Fewer can produce. Demanding stuff first requires someone produce the stuff. Socialists don't understand that you can't distribute stuff from empty shelves. Incentives matter. You get less of what is taxed and more of what is subidized. Do you want more production, or empty shelves? Continue with Blue Democracy and the Global Left. Related:

"I see the liberty of the individual ... as the necessary condition for the flowering of all the other goods that mankind cherishes: moral virtue, civilization, the arts and sciences, economic prosperity. Out of liberty, then, stem the glories of civilized life.” Murray Rothbard |
